Indoor Facilities
Recently redecorated throughout, the hall and kitchen offer great facilities for functions and meetings of all descriptions. Those with mobility issues are fully catered for and access is level and easy throughout the building.
Please be advised that, as of 28/03/25, bouncy castles and other inflatables are not permitted in the hall due to insurance requirements.
Main Hall
Bright and airy and measuring 17m (56ft) x 11m (36ft) (the height is 6m (20ft) at the centre and 3m (10ft) at the sides), the main hall is at the centre of our facilities and among other things, hosts wedding receptions, concerts, parties, dances, sports, seminars and training sessions.
The hall is licensed for 200 people for theatre performances and 300 for social events. Seating for 250 people and 20 large (180cm x 76cm) and 12 small tables (90cm x 76cm) are available.
Stage Area
A good size extendable stage with appropriate curtaining. Behind the stage are changing rooms and toilet facilities.
The extendable part of the stage gives an extra 2.4m (8ft) infront of the main stage. There may be an extra cost to use the stage extension as we require someone from the hall to be on-hand to supervise its installation and dismantling.
If you wish to use the extended stage please mention it on your booking form under “Any other details” section.
Kitchen
The kitchen is available free of charge for tea and coffee making if you hire the main hall and 100 cups and saucers are provided.
The kitchen can be hired for the preparation of meals at an additional cost. Crockery, cutlery and other tableware for up to 100 people is also available for hire. Equipment includes a commercial electric 6 element cooker, a commercial dishwasher, 2 heating cupboards and a large and small refrigerator.

Outdoor Facilities
These fun facilities (under the auspices of the Parish Council) are immediately adjacent to the hall and are freely available for all to use.
Children's Play Area
This fenced area of grass contains a wide selection of children’s play equipment, including swings, slide and a basketball practice area.
Multi-sport All-weather Play Area
Suitable for many games and activities including five-a-side football and basketball.
Grassed Recreation Area
A lovely level area used mainly for junior football but suitable for a range of activities.
Village Hall Car Park
A fully surfaced car park accommodating approximately 50 cars for the exclusive use of Village Hall users only.
